More Cockpit Work and Engine Mounting
Here's the main office after the addition of (clockwise,
starting from lower left): Elevator trim control, throttle linkage,
primer, and ignition switch.
Another view of the office.
The engine mounts supplied with the kit were precut
for the straight mount. Since I'm streamlining the aft of the
fuselage I had to cut the mounts and relocate all of the mounting
holes.
The engine on the plane for the first time.

The more observant among you may ask, "Hey that's
not a 582! What's a 618 doing on there?" Well, the 582 is
still on my Aventura.
I've purchased this 618 to put onto the Aventura, and will move
the 582 to the Hawk when it's ready. In the meantime I can use
the 618 - which has all the same mounts as the 582 - to set up
the Hawk, and can continue to fly the Aventura.
